Last Day at Home 10/18/2010
Well, This is Katrina's Mom. I get to be officially in charge of updating Sister Katrina Amero's Mission Blog. Katrina has handed over the reign.
We had a great FHE with her Stake President Mccoy and his wife at our home. We had a nice visit and lesson from Pres. Mccoy. Then Pres. Mccoy and Katrina's Dad set her apart to be Sister Katrina Amero. Telisha & I got to be her first companion. Telisha almost patted Sister Amero on the bum, but then said "oh ya, guess I can't do that now". Cute..... All of us had a quite evening of more packing and sewing some last minute things.
Today was a day full of packing and more laundry and weighing the suitcases which were both just 5 pounds over the 50 pound limit. Oh no! Well, problem solved by removing the first aid kit and a few other things to the carryon. Oh boy, it is not going to be easy living out of just 2 suitcases for 18 months!
It was such a beautiful Fall Day so Dad had to take Katrina flying for one last time before the setting apart and mission check in.
They flew over the neighborhood and the corn maze and got some great pics. Katrina's going to miss our Mt. Rainier.
